Why Do You Need to Learn English?

Learning English Is Crucial to Your Success

By Amlan Banerjee

Learning the English language is truly a necessity for everyone in this day and age. The Internet has really created an interconnected global community, and its universal language is English. It is not uncommon for US, Canadian, Australian and UK businesses to have staff, partners and customers all over the world. The travel industry, international politics, Internet and media are predominantly English now and in order to keep up in today’s world, people are finding that they need to speak English more and more. No matter where you live or what you do, fluency in English is becoming a necessity to function in today’s society.

As one of the most widely spoken languages, English is known as the international language. Even in countries where it is not the official language, it is becoming more commonly spoken every day. With the current global media influence, English is the most common second language in the world. More than 400 million people speak English as their mother tongue, and over 700 million have learned it as a second language.

We now live in the “Information Age,” and if you think about it, the majority of that information is in English. Most websites, magazines, books, videos and research materials are in English. If you use the Internet at all in your business or personal affairs, I’m sure you have begun to realize this. In fact, the majority of software on the market today is in English as well, so even using your computer is becoming harder if you don’t speak English. The widespread use of the Internet and social media online has made English proficiency more and more sought after.

If you are looking to do business globally, or even just in the US market, a solid grasp of the English language will be necessary for you to succeed. The opportunities for business growth or even gainful employment are much greater for English-speaking people. If you currently do business in a non-English speaking country, you can expect your profits to sky-rocket once you expand globally. The US has the highest concentration of consumers in the world and controls most of the market-share in many sectors worldwide. Breaking into that market can be extremely lucrative for overseas businesses that are able to do so, and naturally, you will have much more success if you are fluent in English.

Career opportunities for people who are fluent in English are much more abundant than for those who are not. People who live in poorer areas of the world can easily get very high-paying jobs in the American market. Teleworking and working online is becoming commonplace in the business world today. American companies are outsourcing work to people in the Philippines, China, India and other countries very frequently now. The vast difference in the rates of pay and cost of living in these countries make it very lucrative for both the employer and the employee. An employee in the Philippines working for an American company, for example, can easily earn a day’s pay in an hour! Adding “Excellent written and spoken English” to your resume or CV will put you miles ahead of the other job applicants and will allow you to earn a higher salary. If you are considering immigrating to an English-speaking country, you will need to prove that you possess a good command of English. Most of these countries have language requirements that must be met in order to gain residency status.

Those who do business online will be interested to know that over 565 million of Internet users are English. The majority of the websites are English as well. Needless to say, if you want to compete in the global market, English is a requirement, and by having your website available in English, you will increase your reach and readership by leaps and bounds. Expanding your business overseas is much easier these days in our interconnected world, and being able to serve your client base in a common language will allow you to do that.

Even if you are not interested in doing business globally, you may have the opportunity to travel internationally at some point. While it would be impossible to learn every language of every country you want to visit, just knowing how to speak English will make your trip much more enjoyable. Business people all over the world are increasing their English-speaking staff. This means that if you can speak English, you will have an easier time ordering at restaurants, booking hotels, asking questions and getting directions, shopping and generally enjoying your trip to a foreign country. If you aren’t able to communicate with people in the country you are visiting, chances are you won’t have a very good vacation.

Most of the top-rated universities in the world are in English-speaking countries – the US, UK, Australia and Canada. If you are considering studying abroad, you will need to be fluent in English not only to study in these institutions, but also to gain entry and obtain a study permit in that country. Books from all over the world are often translated into English, more often than any other language. Studying any subject will be much easier with access to the billions of books available in English. With a strong command of the English language you will be opening doors to so many top of the line educational facilities and thus allowing you to unlock your full potential with no linguistic barriers.

Comparatively, English is much easier to learn than many other languages. The alphabet is simple, with only 26 characters and no accents; grammar rules are simpler than many other languages; verb tenses, pluralization and possessive pronouns are quite easy to learn. Depending on what your native language is, you will most likely find English to be quite straightforward and easy to comprehend. The effort involved in learning is well worth the multitude of benefits. If you put in the time and effort to learn English, you will truly be unlocking opportunities in your professional and personal life that will lead to a fuller and more satisfying future.

Of course, it’s not necessary to become completely fluent right away. You can easily learn how to speak English well enough to land a great job or communicate effectively without perfecting every aspect of English grammar. There are numerous online English Language training tools that are very effective. These tools are the perfect way to learn to speak English very quickly.

How to Use Online Learning Effectively

Learning English Online Can Be Fun But Yet Effective

By Amlan Banerjee

In today’s competitive world it is a virtual requirement to be able to speak fluent English to get the best jobs in any business. While it is a difficult process to learn any new language, English is considered by many to be very difficult because there are so many exceptions to the rules. Fortunately there are proven ways to successfully learn to read, write and speak the English language fluently. Perhaps the best way is learning English online. The online format has many advantages that traditional self-study and even classroom learning simply cannot offer. Online learning has the ability to combine every different proven learning strategy together in one comprehensive class.

Learning English online is far easier than any other method of study because of the wide range of materials and the flexibility of being able to log on and study at any time of the day or night. There are no rigid class schedules which you have to attend every week so there is little risk of falling behind on your studies. Online classes are also easy to adjust based on your work and personal life which is a big advantage for many busy individuals. Many people’s schedules change week by week with kid’s events, work changes and other unavoidable reasons. Due to these changes it is impossible for many people to attend class at the same time each and every week.

One huge area where learning English online excels is the audio and video media that is available to the students. In many normal English classes there is a very limited number of options to choose from when looking to listen to English spoken aloud or watch a video in English. Online there are literally millions of different options available. When you want to learn a specific part of the English language it is not difficult to find examples of it with a quick search or by being guided along with an online course instructor. Many exceptional online English courses offer a library of different audio, video and written items which can be viewed and studied at any time. These items are very beneficial to help learn how native English speakers sound and also for learning the language in general.

Learning English online is not only extremely convenient, it is also very effective. It is common knowledge that in order to quickly learn English you need to work at it every single day, especially for the first few months. Online instructions allow you to do just that by providing vast amounts of information which is available at any time. There is no need to wait around for an instructor to show up at a class room in order to get the next assignment or to ask a question. You can access all the information you need at any time and if you ever have a question for the instructor he is just an email away.

While it’s true that when learning English online an instructor is typically available to reply to any questions right away, there is yet another advantage. The other students who are studying to learn the language are also often available to ask for assistance. This creates a community of learning which is far superior than just relying on one individual instructor. Allowing students to interact online lets one student who is struggling in one particular area get help from another who happens to excel. Each student can help others with their strength and gain valuable insight on areas in which they are weak. Everyone benefits from this collaborative learning strategy and it takes advantage of the fact that people retain information when they are also teaching it.

It is a well known fact that when people hear, read, speak and teach something they are very likely to retain that information for a long time. Using this strategy, learning English online allows you to perform each of these items every day to help ensure you learn English as effectively, and quickly as possible. In addition to helping students learn faster and retain the information better, this method of learning also keeps it far more entertaining than more traditional methods. Allowing students to participate in every aspect of the class provides additional variety so they do not get bored. Learning by constantly reading or hearing someone talk about the same concepts will quickly get boring but when students are allowed to choose what type of learning they desire on a given day the learning will stay fresh and exciting!

Students will often find themselves creating small groups when they are learning English online because they often interact with the same people on a regular basis. These small groups will let each student contribute what they know and understand best to the others while receiving instructions from others in areas in which they may struggle. The sharing of information also provides opportunities for students to network with each other and potentially learn about additional opportunities in different areas of their lives. These small groups may meet only virtually through online meeting services or even just by replying to email chains to each other. It is all informally set up by the students to compliment the education they find while studying to learn English online as individuals.

As with anything new in life, learning English online will come with it’s own set of challenges. Learning a new language is a very difficult yet extremely rewarding experience for anyone willing to take on the challenge. The rewards come in many ways from meeting new friends to increasing your employment opportunities for your future. Learning English is one of the best things you can do to help open new doors for your career since English is the most commonly spoken language in the business world today. It is important to remember that you need to learn English today in preparation for potential career advancement in the future as when a job opens up, you won’t even be considered if you don’t already have the language skills firmly in place.

English Language Learning Tips

Tips To Learn English

author: George Williams

helpful tips sticky noteDo you have any plan to pursue your further education abroad? Will you need English for your career or your education? If so, you may wish to investigate your options for learning, or improving, your English skills.

The TOEFL Test: TOEFL (Test Of English as a Foreign Language) is a test used by many colleges, universities, government agencies and exchange and scholarship programs in the US, UK and Canada as a means of evaluating the language skills of a person whose first language is not English.

You can find TOEFL study guides easily online with other recommended resources listed. You may be able to access some of the sample tests and prepare with personal study. Or you may look for a class with an instructor to help you prepare for the test.

ESL Classes: ESL classes are a common means for students to learn English with group of classmates. These can be in the form of an evening class with various individuals attending or may be part of a college program during the day.

The course length and the topics covered will differ from country to country and school to school. Some summer programs are geared for international students to gain a basic grasp of the language before starting studies in English taught classes of the college or university.

Since the standards of passing a course, or the course material itself, will vary drastically, some students may feel that the language skills gained upon completing the course does not equip them to handle school work or social interactions adequately.

Some schools offer students and alternative of home-stay programs for students. Home-stay programs benefit the student by placing them for several weeks or months with a host family that speaks English. The student is then able to immerse him or herself in the culture and social speaking of the English country they are living in. There are also online ESL programs that may be suitable for distance education, especially if programs are not readily available in your area.

Private Tutors: Another popular method of learning English is with private tutors. The materials and methods used by ESL tutors will vary greatly and it is important to establish what material will be used and to feel comfortable with the tutor. Asking friends or other students for references can be helpful in finding a good tutor.

A combination of these English learning methods will be effective as well. You can take a summer course while staying with a home-stay host family and then arranging for private tutoring during the school year. Making an effort to use your new language skills regularly in social situations will improve your progress regardless of the program or course you are using.

Learning A Foreign Language – 5 Mistakes Commonly Made

“The limits of my language means the limits of my world.” ― Ludwig Wittgenstein

Top 5 Mistakes You Can Make When Learning a Foreign Language by Topp Alice

learning a languageThe Internet has made it easier for us to explore what we want. With a few clicks, you can see different places, talk to people from different countries, watch movies, or even learn new languages. If you are particularly inclined to know what phrases like Intercambios De Idiomas, encuentra penpals, or cursos de Ingles con videos mean, you need a good dose of effort and patience. There are also certain mistakes you must avoid if you want to master a new foreign language:

Not listening well

Language experts suggest that you need to be a very good listener when learning a new language. You might notice how babies stare at you when you are talking and mimic the sounds you produce. You need that kind of focus and willingness to learn. Intercambio de Lenguas or language exchange can only happen if one is ready to listen. This will help you develop a new vocabulary and learn the structure of the new language.

We listen everyday to people we communicate with on a daily basis but it can be difficult to practice when you are faced with a difficult foreign language. What you can do is to find TV shows, movies, and music using the new language. You can also join social networks that help people learn new languages.

Not being culturally curious

Your natural curiosity and attitude are among the biggest factors in how you will progress when learning a new language. If you are interested in learning Spanish but not keen on learning different aspects of the Spanish culture, you might face more challenges in learning the new language.

Studies have shown that language learners who are culturally curious tend to be more receptive to the foreign language. Experts also encourage having amigos por correspondencia or friend pen pals that use the target language.

Using a single method

Relying on just one method to learn a new language is not enough. You might be learning from language books but the process can be faster if you will watch videos, talk with native speakers, and watch different media using the new language.

Using different methods can help you acquire more skills that you need to master a new language. If you are looking for a language course or an online language community, make sure that you will be able to practice listening, writing, reading, and speaking.

You are Easily Frustrated

Right from the start, you need to set your mind that you cannot learn the new language in a snap. You will be learning new words everyday, learn rules for the new language, and encountering people who know the language you are trying to learn by heart. Try to conquer the challenges you face by utilizing the resources you have like the friends who speak the language, videos, books, online courses, and social networks.

Being too Afraid

Any negativity towards learning a foreign language can slow you down. It can be quite overwhelming but knowing what resources to tap can make life easier for you. Remember to use the new language so you can improve it as you go along.

Do not be afraid to make mistakes, be it spoken or written, since they give you the opportunity to correct the errors before they become part of your system.

Why Studying Business English Is Important

They had nothing in common but the English language.” ― E.M. Forster, Howards End

In today’s business world, the study of English is very important. Communication, both verbal and written is necessary in dealing with companies in many countries.

The author gives some reasons why it is necessary to study business English.

Business English and Its Importance in Business and Professional Success – By Eliza Raymundo

English speakersWhat is Business English?

Loosely defined, business English refers to English language used in international trade or business. It is a specialized area of English language learning and teaching because it is largely attributed to non-native English speakers who study the subject to enhance their chances of doing business with companies from English speaking countries.

Largely depending on the intention for which learning is intended, Business English can refer to the study of business English vocabulary used in the fields of trade, business, finance, or international relations. If the study focuses on techniques on business presentations, negotiations, correspondence, writing and other skills needed for business communications, then it can be classified as the study of Business English communication skills in the workplace. There is really not much difference between the two classifications, as vocabulary and communication skills work together to achieve a common goal – to develop or enhance both written and verbal English skills for business or career advancement purposes.

Why Learning Business English Is Important

Around the world, there is an estimated 1 Billion people learning English. Many factors point to the reason why learning English has seen exponential growth in recent years, but it all boils down to the English language being the “global language” of business, politics, international relations, culture, and entertainment for so many countries worldwide. And that is just an understatement as in fact, while English is not an official language in many countries worldwide, it is the language most often taught as a foreign or second language.

Business Leverage

The rapid growth in technology for global communications notwithstanding, there are still many companies and individual professionals who fail in their quest for business or professional success. And oftentimes the failure primarily lies on one of the most basic foundations of making business relations – the language spoken. Undoubtedly, the English language is the global language for business and having a good command of English will definitely give one who is eyeing globally competitive business or career a clear edge. Any communications problem, whether personal or business, translates to losses, zero result in negotiations, incompetence for global business, or will just simply leave you ill-equipped to carry out international business.
Career Growth

Going down on a more personal level of career success, having the right Business English communication skills will surely equip you with a liberating confidence and ability to express yourself in the English language. It will surely be an advantage in interviews, thus giving you more opportunities to widen your career prospects. Or if you are not looking for a new job, having the confidence and ability to speak Business English is one way of enhancing your potential for earning by making you stand out for career advancement or promotions. Studies show a steady growth in the number of companies worldwide requiring employees who have bilingual skills.

Internet Proficiency Means English Proficiency

Research shows that 80% of the amount of Internet web content is in the English language and that content relating to business written in the English language largely comprises this figure. It goes without saying that having a good grasp of business information, data, or terminologies in the English language is very important to have a good understanding of the wealth of business information available on the Internet.

Learn A New Language Through Self-Study

Learning another language is not only learning different words for the same things, but learning another way to think about things.” ‒ Flora Lewis

We all learn languages at different speeds and use different tools and methods to become fluent.

The author gives some suggested methods to learning a new language through self-study

Self Study Approaches For Learning New Languages – By Avery Parker

girl self-studyingLanguage classes are structured backwards for the way many people learn languages. When we’re learning our first language we don’t study grammar and verb conjugation. Instead our parents and early caregivers teach us vocabulary and lots of it. As a course of our learning, we misuse the language and are corrected and the grammar is sculpted and molded as we improve our use of the language.

When I set out to study new languages on my own, I tried to emulate this model. I put myself in the point of trying to absorb lots of vocabulary first and then try to learn grammar by hearing correct grammar rather than reading a book about grammar. I many times will pick up a general guide to a language so that I can learn some basics. Most books or book and audio courses though only give you a structure to work from, you have to fill in a lot of the rest of the work on your own.

One of the most important things you will need to undertake is learning vocabulary. When I initially started my self study process for studying languages I focused on TV content and reading. I tried not to get slowed down with words I didn’t know, but would pick a book that I was familiar with in English. Over time I started to learn meanings for words just by their usage. I forced myself to continue and managed to learn quite a bit of vocabulary this way.

If I were starting out again however, I would have been making use of spaced repetition software all along. Spaced repetition software is also known by the initials SRS. This is essentially note card software. I’m sure that you remember making use of note cards in school to memorize facts for tests. Well, the SRS software is more sophisticated than that, but it builds upon the same principle.

Scientists have learned a lot about long term memory and short term memory. The key to the note card software is moving information to long term memory through a process called spaced repetition. In other words seeing a fact once today puts it into short term memory. Seeing it again tomorrow reinforces that and the next day, then two days later. At this point, it’s starting to be made long term. Finally the spaces between seeing facts are gradually spread out. It’s said that it would then only take seeing some given fact like a vocabulary word once in five years to keep it fresh for another five years.

Popular titles of spaced recognition software are Mnemosyne and Anki. I personally use Mnemosyne more and have a database with a few thousand words in it. Each time now that I read in a book or newspaper or hear a new word on TV I will record the word with it’s definition in the database and that way it gets added into my routine for learning.

Since I’ve added the spaced repetition software into my routine I’ve noticed my vocabulary has grown by leaps and bounds. Now, I’m comfortable that I know multiple ways of saying some of the same things. I have made use of Mnemosyne primarily and in addition to seeing the word in my second language and having to produce from memory the translation, you also see the word in your language and have to produce the word in the language you are studying.

Studying a new language is not something you do in one weekend and then you’re finished. Studying a new language is a long term goal. I set five years for myself to spend looking at one language. I feel as though I’ve achieved a decent level of fluency in that language after five years. It is something that you have to commit a consistent amount of time to on a daily basis though.

Since there is a great long term time commitment you should have very good motivation for learning a language. Otherwise, you may set yourself up for failure out of the starting gates. Don’t build up obstacles for yourself like “I never learned it in High School so I just can’t learn another language.” Anyone is capable of learning a language if they’ve first learned their native tongue.

Once you’ve made a certain amount of progress in your vocabulary, try to branch out and find more materials in your new language to start testing and improving on what you have already learned. Keep practicing your skills in as many ways as you can. This is part of the key to making what you have learned a part of your long term memory and really becoming confident and fluent in your chosen language.

If you continue to follow this guide you will become more fluent in your chosen new language. Good luck!

Avery Parker has been interested in languages for most of his adult life and maintains a site at http://www.studynewlanguages.com where he has listed many of the great online resources for assisting in language learning. This interest in languages has also been fueled by an interest in Radio and TV and of course, there are many online resources that can be used for language learning. Why Is Illiteracy Common In The Modern World?

“One cannot guess how a word functions. One has to look at its use and learn from that. But the difficulty is to remove the prejudice which stands in the way of doing this. It is not a stupid prejudice.” – Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889-1951), Austrian engineer & philosopher

In this modern world, we seldom believe that illiteracy exists outside of poor, third world countries. However, this is not the case.

The author gives her thoughts on why illiteracy is more of a problem than we think.

Illiteracy – A Modern World Problem – Elmarie Porthouse

illiteracyWhen thinking about teaching someone to read, we invariably think about a child of about 6. When we hear about illiteracy, our minds immediately goes to a middle-aged person in some third-world country who did not have the time or resources to learn to read because they had to take up guns and fight a civil war. But this is not the biggest problem in literacy anymore. Illiteracy has become a problem in many first-world and developing countries. According to reports the number of teenagers unable to read at a functional level, are staggering.

What are the reasons for this? Why, in a modern, developed world where reading is a skill we readily accept everyone has, are there so many who cannot read?

It is a vicious cycle. Poverty is one of the reasons people never learn to read properly. Without that proper education, one cannot find a good job, leading to having to accept a menial salary or even long periods of unemployment. Children born in such circumstances have an even more difficult time to learn how to read than others.

One of the things you always hear when you are a teacher, is that you cannot teach a hungry child. When a child is not properly fed, his brain chemicals start changing. This causes the brain to focus only on survival and all energy go to the vital organs to sustain life. It leaves the reasoning and learning part of the brain depleted so even though the child is trying his best, he is just not able to concentrate on what the teacher is trying to teach him.

Another reason is the over-population of classrooms and teachers being pressured by authorities to stick to a certain program. Children are supposed to be sufficiently literate by the time they reach the end of grade 3. Teachers have big classes and a program to follow. In some places it is now popular practice to have a teacher’s salary determined by his/her performance in class. So if there are a few children in class who, for whatever reason, cannot keep up with the prescribed program, they easily fall by the wayside.

After grade 3 it is not part of any syllabus to teach basic literacy. Laws on promoting students to the next level differ between different countries, states and schools. But at some stage the child will get stuck in a grade. When this happens it is easy for the child to become despondent. A child like this will easily leave school without any further education. He has now fallen through the cracks in the system and there is no more help for him in the mainstream schooling system.

There are many reasons why children beyond grade 3 cannot read. And probably it is not my fault or yours. But if we leave this to world leaders and government to solve, no help will be coming for this generation. It is up to each and every one of us to teach someone to read.

By teaching a child to read, you empower her to make a better life for herself and those she will need to take responsibility for one day. One better life will make one better country, which will hopefully make one better world.

Each one of us can do something about the illiteracy levels in our own towns and cities. It cannot be left to governments any longer. To find out how you can do your bit in teaching someone to read and write, visit [http://www.etpenterprises.com/parenting/special-needs-education/]ETP Enterprises.

Some Very Good Reasons (7 actually) to Learn A Foreign Language

Any man who does not make himself proficient in at least two languages other than his own is a fool.” ~Martin H. Fischer

Why should you learn a foreign language?

Here are 7 good reasons why you should want to learn a foreign language now.

Learn Foreign Language Now – 7 Good Reasons – By Terry Shurts

language globeIn this article I will illustrate the importance of learning a second language for the broadening of one’s life and opportunities. You will learn the role of a second language in:

* Expanding your social life

* Gaining more business contacts

* More business opportunities

* More employment opportunities

* Increased knowledge of other cultures and places

* Travel

* Keeping your brain sharp

The importance of learning a second language is greater today than ever. As the world keeps shrinking with greater advances in communications technology and modes of travel, people are moving around both physically and in cyberspace at an ever-increasing rate. Immigration and tourism are growing rapidly in many countries. You may live in a country with one “official” language but chances are that many other languages will be spoken in that country.

Your Social Life

If you live in an area where your next door neighbors’ primary language is not your own, wouldn’t it be nice to be able to speak their language also? You can get to know them on a more personal basis, get invited to more parties and more easily ask for help if you need it. Of course, if you don’t care to talk to your neighbors or you live in an area where everyone speaks the same language, this would not apply. But what if you are the type of person who likes to spend a lot of time on-line? The Internet brings the world to your desktop! Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to chat with someone on the other side of the world in their own language?

If you are a single man or woman looking for Mr. or Mrs. Right, why limit yourself to only those who speak your own language? The perfect one for you may speak a different language! Many relationships like this are made but are problematic because of the lack of communications. Having a good knowledge of the other’s primary language is a tremendous help.

Business

If you own a business or work in sales, the importance of learning a second language should be evident. Knowing another language allows you to develop international business contacts, prepare advertising targeted to markets that speak another language or do sales work in neighborhoods with mixed languages. Expanding your market is one of the best ways to increase business, so why not learn the language of the market you are interested in? You have probably read stories of advertising screw ups where a product name or advertising copy did not translate well. You can prevent this type of thing from happening by learning the language.

Your Resume

The importance of learning a second language for business opportunities goes for employment opportunities as well. Having at least one other language on your resume is a big plus. It means that you are more valuable to the employer because you can help with more customers, deal with more business contacts or help prepare more targeted advertising.

Know Your World

If you are the type of person who likes to increase your knowledge of the world, learning a second language can be very helpful. It’s almost impossible to learn another language without learning something about the people who speak that language as well as their customs and their geographical origins. Likewise, if you really want to study a different culture, learning their language is very important in developing a complete understanding of it.

Travel

The importance of learning a second language for travel purposes is obvious. Although some English is spoken in almost all countries, if your only language is English you may have a difficult time of it. Take for instance an experience I had while traveling in Thailand. The restaurant at the hotel I was staying at had a limited menu for Westerners in English. Being unable to read Thai at the time, I chose what sounded like an intriguing breakfast item of Yam and Toast. While nibbling on the toast with butter and strawberry jam that was served, I patiently waited for my yam that I assumed was being cooked. I soon realized that I was actually eating the yam (Jam) on my toast!

Even though people in another country may speak your language, sometimes things don’t get translated quite right. Having a good knowledge of the primary language in the country you are traveling in can make for a much more pleasant stay. Not only will you avoid some mix- ups but you will be more able to make friends or even develop a romantic relationship.

Flex Your Brain

Scientists have known the importance of learning a second language for brain health for some time now. A 2004 study done by researchers from University College London found that learning a second language alters gray matter – the area of the brain which processes information – in the same way exercise builds muscles. So if you want to keep your brain healthy, learning other languages can help you do it.

In conclusion, learning other languages is good for your social life, career, recreation and your health, so start learning one today!
